Fallout 4 is the continuation of the famous post-apocalyptic series, which develops a few years after the end of Fallout 3. The protagonist of the game is the only survivor of Vault 111, which was located not far from Boston. By the will of fate, the protagonist will have to leave his home to embark on an adventure full of dangers, where he will have mutants, looters, mercenaries and various natural dangers on his way. The fourth part of the series differs from its predecessors by a new location of action – Boston and its surroundings – as well as some changes in the game mechanics. Thus, the role system of SPECIAL has been reworked, the protagonist has learned how to modify weapons and rebuild war-ravaged colonies. Powered armor, the symbol of the game, is no longer a panacea for all ills: its transport requires nuclear batteries. The dialogue system has also been redesigned: in the fourth part, most tasks can be completed without engaging in battles with the characters.
